I've been alternating between this and "Les Saints vont en enfer", for my "pushing the comfort zone" reads.
This book is trying to be as edgy as a book by a white misogynist bloke can. Honestly, it is... a tad pretentious. I'm being narrated *at*, not *to* throughout the novel and the tone is really grinding away at me.
Determined to finish this as it's part of my "read and donate in 2019" shelf
