Welp, the volume ends with yet another cliffhanger. I feel as if this series relies too heavily on flashbacks and time skips and a lot of relevant information happens off-screen. And I had to really pick apart the artwork for the battle with the demon queen so I can differentiate between the one doing the ass kicking and the one getting their ass kicked. And what price did Emma pay? You Know Who = real villain?
