A little childish, a little sexist, a little silly, a lot of fun, and very entertaining. Some plot holes but none so big they ruin the story. I am in it until book 2 at least.

Jesus, this guy is such a loser. I know that's the point but I'm honestly quite close to dropping this in favor of something where I'm not supposed to empathize with a character who's just blatantly both disgusting and an overwhelming loser. I can sympathize with people alright, but this guy is just kinda a piece of shit.
