Just read the chapter on communist women, which almost read like a love letter. Davis portrays the story of U.S. women communists through small biographies of a select few, highlighting how these worked generationally, as well as personally with eachother and for conciousness raising in the IWW. She ends the chapter on a poem Elizabeth Gurley Flynn dedicated to Claudia Jones, after the latter was let go from prison.
