Status Updates From Sensitive: My Journey throu...

struggled my way through this, a few pages or a chapter at a time. some by analog reading, some by kindle's text-to-speech feature, & it's just... it's fake, is what it is. it's definitely a very pale & poorly done imitation of burroughs/frey. the tales get more outlandish, the 'history' less believable, the characters more caricaturesque w/each page. how this made it to print by an actual publisher is beyond me...

i'm really not getting this book yet... it's odd and unlikeable in a yet-another augusten burroughs-gonna be a faux memoir way... and i also keep thinking it's going to turn out like james frey's 'A Million Little Pieces" and just be exposed as even worse, as a full-on fake in a few years...
