Why do all mmc have to be abused/heavily traumatized in fantasy? Like, why? "He's ignoring me! Wait, we're okay; he was just hit as a child" Sorry, it's a dumb pet peeve. But, like, be more creative. I can't say I haven't used the stereotype in my own stories, but he's not mean at least. Not that this guy really is; he's just...weird. I have mixed feelings about this whole thing...
