Status Updates From The Last Human

The Scalzi-ness is a bit unbearable right now, so this story is going to be relegated to my "Will Get Back To Eventually" shelf where it will ferment in my mind and either be taken down as a matured wine or tossed.

The amount of time Sarya spends hypnotized, in hysterics, or incapacitated in some way is getting a little exhausting.

She's constantly having revelations about what's going on immediately around here instead of just paying attention.

This story is giving me serious Scalzi vibes, which is both good and bad.

Good because the concept is amazing, fascinating, and hilarious.

Bad because the execution is flat, tropey, and blunt.

(There is also a LOT to this novel that should've been trimmed out.)
