Wrote a lovely long review and lost it before it would save so

Good to read before bed
Lots of poems are very similar, some have themes shoehorned into it
But the good ones are very enjoyable
Also difficult to translate poetry so I fear a lot of the nuances have gone

“why they were the ones who had to show love
can bloom anywhere, even in the dark,
and that love growing in the dark is no less life-giving.”

“This whole time, loneliness has been your leafage,
green and shaggy and lush. What a fine tree, they all think,
on the verge of buzzing with bees and bursting with fruit.
But you’re withering,
your trunk and twigs diminishing, the benalu
in your branches eating away at your heart.”
