Chapter 5 has really elevated both the innate and learned wrongfulness of the boys that has been present in the first few chapters. There’s an overwhelming sense of dread surrounding every action or word of theirs that’s equally hard to read as it is entrancing.

shame this isn’t told in the first person but i still kick my feet like a school girl when reading it, also, the multiple perspectives is neat i guess
