To substantiate that Jews had dominated the prostitution trade b4 WW1, Leers quoted an antisemitic Polish publication [that said] authorities prosecuted 988 Jews, but only 7 Christians, on prostitution charges...Notwithstanding Leers' mendacity, it was indeed fact that Jews were heavily involved in prostitution in several countries in the 19th & 20th centuries. Jew reformers bemoaned this & urged that it be combated.

As a librarian at the Prussian State Library, Eichstädt had taken on the task a comprehensive bibliography [on the History of the JQ] that would serve as an essential research tool for future scholarship on the JQ…Eichstädt celebrated the German challenge to the Jewish monopoly on the writing of Jewish history [which he assessed harshly as biased in favor of Jews], but emphasized that this had only just begun.

Grau condemned the unabashed "Jewish standpoint" of a book in which, according to him, all Jews were praised, all antisemites were condemned, & the latter's sincere motives were not given serious consideration. He dismissed as simplistic & apologetic a view in which "the Jews are pure innocents, heroes & martyrs," while "the antisemites are everywhere the guilty, criminals, haters, jealous, reactionaries, & idiots."

Schickert chronicled the takeover of Hungary's economy by Jews between 1867 & 1918. He did not consider it important to engage the question, posed earlier by Werner Sombart, of whether the Jews were the originators of capitalism or merely its effective exploiters, which he considered to be beside the point. Sombart's concept…was less important for Schickert’s purposes than the phenomenon of "Jewish parasitism."

Grau posed a series of questions…Of the Jewish apologists he asked whether Jewish prohibitions against using blood for ritual purposes meant that this, in fact, never happened. Did not the Jews from time to time engage in secretive, superstitious rituals? Did not hostility to Christianity at times attain great intensity?…Christian hostility toward Jews had been fueled by well-documented Jewish unscrupulousness…

The claim that Jewish scholarship about Jewish life and history was inherently biased was a basic assumption of Nazi Jewish research, one that was often stated explicitly in books and articles…[Nazi-era German historians] asserted that their conclusions conformed to Nazi ideology not because they were biased but because Nazi ideology happened to represent the truth.

At the ceremonial opening of the Research Department for the Jewish Question in November 1936, Professor Karl Alexander von Müller of the University of Munich congratulated his students for breaking a longstanding "taboo" against writing Jewish history from something other than a "pro-Jewish standpoint"...Jewish scholarship, he continued, had presented itself as objective and scientific, but this had been a sham.

The historians of Nazi Germany did not ignore the scholarship of their Jew counterparts but in fact paid quite close attention to it. One of their central ideological tenets was the belief that new scholarship was needed to correct the errors of Jew historiography, which had interpreted Jew history & Jewish-Christian relations in a manner that was inherently biased toward a Jew perspective & hostile to a German one.
