"Night, Xander says backing through the adjoining door into his own room"
Two pages later in chapter 3 we're suddenly at Xander's place and he's got pets?
" Tonight there at Xander's place, Xander has both a cat and a dog as though he likes to prepare for conflict every day of his life"
