I think we've hit every misunderstanding trope possible at this point. And the MC sucks so they just keep festering, and I honestly can NOT see how they end up together after this. I love HEAs but honestly I think the happiest ending here would be for Parker to get free of this guy 😬

Wow I haven't hated a main character this much in a long time. Every time I start to think mayyybe Grant is getting a little redeemed he does something else. Parker should not give him any more chances... so toxic.

Oh for crying out loud! Professional football player does something stupid, video ends up all over the news. Agent calls and says something is going to leak and people will find out where he is. Seriously? Injured starting NFL QB is coaching an impoverished HS football team and no one knows about this?! Really?! It may be a small town but they’ve all got cell phones and social media is everywhere.

I can’t decide if some of the errors I’m seeing now are a lack of proofreading and editing or just not knowing what the hell you are writing about.

Oh dear lord! The professional football player has a completely made up background...where he grew up, what his parents do etc. really?! In this day and age? Like a) anyone couldn’t find his HS info since he played for a D1 team and b) like 50 people from his real hometown wouldn’t be glad to talk to the media and post on social media with yearbook evidence to prove it. Just idiotic.

Off to a rocky start. Such an obvious lack of research or care about research. If Grant “had an agent from day 1 at UCLA” he wouldn’t have had a day 2. And we don’t have “gym teachers” in this day and age. We have PE teachers. As all our physical education teachers say “gym is the room, PE is the class.”
