Status Updates From The Paper Girl of Paris

Ok I get it. These directories are not actually diary entries but Adeltn’s POV. Wish that had been bloody clearer.

The diary entry chapters and the Alice chapters don’t match up chronologically. They can’t or Alice wouldn’t be this dense. The diary entries explain what she was doing with the German yet when we switch to Alice chapters she still believes the aunt was romantically involved with the German right up until Facebook messaging with the grandson. This is annoying.

A bit implausible. Can a 16 year old be that stupid. This is what happens when you’re not taught comprehension in school anymore. And a modern day 16 year old wouldn’t be as close minded about this issue as a 16 year old from, say my mother’s generation or even mine, but this MC is.
Some YA books don’t feel like it - this one does.

Idk what anyone says idk how bored I am I am starting this book.
