I am in love with this book. Art school in NYC in the 1970s, befriending the Raincoats and seeing so many bands at CBGB’s—and now it’s the early 80s, she’s in her own band that’s equally influenced by the Ramones and the Carter Family, and she’s seeing Porter Wagoner in concert.
