Using this book to brush up for an entrance exam and it's been very suitable for that. It is detailed enough to thoroughly explain most body functions and systems, but not overly detail-laden, making it good for an overview.
Each chapter focuses on a body system, with several pages in each chapter dedicated to various diseases or disorders.
-uses words to define themselves
-some terms not defined, s/o Wikipedia
