Story #5: Winner Takes All - Celebrate! - Deacon makes an impromptu offer of marriage to Harper and before long, the newly engaged couple find a decadent way to celebrate. It was a nice and steamy read. In addition to liking Harper and Deacon, I also like that there were characters from the prior story. It was like a bonus epilogue and I am always up for those!

Story #4: Preheated Oven - Balcony Nookie - Adora and Wyndham get up to some naughtiness on the balcony during the day. It's DEFINITELY a steamy quickie. To read, of course! What did you think I meant? 😘🎆 This was my favorite short in the collection.

Story #3: Working Up a Sweat - Double Standard - Isobel and Chad have, or rather HAD, a casual relationship until his jealousy got between them. Sure, it was OK for him to date others but heaver forbid she did. He uses some hot & messy tactics to get her to agree to exclusivity. While hot, this is my least favorite stories in this collection. I also felt sorry for Jameson who unwittingly got caught in their mess.

Story #2: Comfortable, Gwen & Peter - Boss and the Roommate - Gwen and Peter go from strangers to dinner with her roommate to a movie to the bathroom. All the way, tension is building until it bursts in a raw manner, deep and liquefied. I like and hate that it ends with a teaser of more good times. (I hate it because to be a fly on that wall...!)

Story #1: Her Protector, Elli & Jasper - More Than Friends - I liked this steamy quick number. Elli finds herself with a stalker and Jasper comes to watch out for her. I like that she initiated their first kiss but he quickly took over. It's sweet, raw, messy, and climatic!

Began this series of novellas and just couldn't get it to work, sorry.
Shame because I enjoy this author. I just like having something to sink into, not so many quickies thrown together!
However, I LOVE Ms. Stevson!
