I am begging AMC to go deeper into the Lesmand dynamic in future seasons. I know that Sam and Assad have read this shit, they would be so down!!

When Armand is running through his mental burn book of all the living vampires and gets to "Gabrielle: Everybody HATES her" I made an indescribable sound.

Armand reluctantly continuing his story into events covered in TVL "so that you don't have to go back and read [Lestat's] books, so that my book will be enough." One thing about Anne Rice vampires: All of them are petty bitches.

So excited to finally get to the cult arc.

I enjoy Armand’s story but all the religious stuff and the flowery language gets a bit much.

I have unlimited things to say about this story, but to keep it short: Out of all the books in The Vampire Chronicles this one is by far my favorite. The narration in this book has such an emotional and almost mournful tonal shift from the first five books, and I am absolutely in love.
