First part of Notes did not grab me, preferred actually watching the character work.
Have left the book at the start of The Gambler

finished the underground, started the gambler. i did not retain a single thing from the first part of the underground, it was a literal stream of consciousness that made absolutely zero sense to me, but oh well!
