Status Updates From A Dastardly Dognapping

Rita is hysterical, and I don't mean funny.

Helen may be smarter than Rita, but Helen's niece, Bree is every bit as idiotic.

The author clearly has no idea hoe pounds and animal shelters work, in addition to her limited knowledge of dogs.

Also, Rita is stupid beyond belief, and Helen goes a long with all of it despite realizing Rita's Clever Plans are not just stupid, but sometimes dangerous. And of course, always ridiculous.

Somebody finally mentioned that Gunther (the missing dog) might have been taken to the pound. They have not immediately jumped up to go check, or even gotten out their phones to check on the address and open hours of the pound.

So far, I'm not sure the author likes dogs, or knows much about them. Normal dog owners don't react to the idea of their now-aging dog being banned from their apartment building as part of a blanket ban instigated by a neighbor with a grudge with "...wouldn't destroy me [but] it would be very empty in the apartment without her." Also, yes, making provision for you pets in you will is STRONGLY recommended.
