CH. 1-11: It always bothers me when we have a character who is feared and hated and treats someone else how they are treated. She judges the pirates the same way she has been judged for being a changed one her whole life just based on who they are labeled as. They have shown her nothing but kindness and respect, and she's just violent for no reason. Don't call it feisty or brave when it's just rude behavior.

I’m unsure what to think of this book! A friend is going on a cruise and wanted a pirate book, so our little club voted this one in! I’m 71% in and I don’t hate it. We shall see what happens!
