Status Updates From A Nearly Normal Family

Somehow I failed to realize this was a translation of a book by a Swedish author until the 18 year old daughter was able to order wine in a restaurant. I usually avoid translated books because they tend to read a bit flat, and that is definitely true for this one. Way too much telling and not enough showing. So far, I don't really like any of the characters, but I'll stick with it.

I need to stop reading thrillers. Everyone in this book was awful. I read it for a class but the book kinda ruins the class, too. No interest in watching the series? movie? on Netflix.
