The dumbest thing about this scene is that there's no way a biological construct would be strong enough to shrug off the large rounds they're talking about. There's no evolutionary benefit. And even if they could, the sheer mineral needs to maintain something like that, at that scale, is impossible. It makes the story literally unbelievable and impossible to "buy into."

This stupid shit is just code switching for the pointless use of code switching. No one would use "maulk" when the English word "shit" exists because 'maulk' doesn't improve or bet...
