Status Updates From Fangirl, Vol. 1: The Manga

the writing was fine, the plot was fine, the characters were fine, I do hope it gets better tho in the next volume

the college experience aspect of it was also really relatable since i'm going to college in two years. it also shows that your college experience is what you make of it and it also really depends on what type of college you go to. I feel like it would be really interesting to go to the type of college cath and wren went to; I would be able to meet really cool and diff type of people but I feel like that's not my vibe

cather's character was fun to read about and I could relate to her in the aspect that she is introverted and awkward; I also really enjoyed reading Abt her relationship with her twin sister; it made me think what my relationship would look like with my twin sister (if I had a twin sister). I have a twin brother but its not the same as having a twin sister, so it was interesting to read Abt.

before reading this, I was pretty interested because i'd heard really good things about rainbow rowell; plus shes also from Omaha (not that it really matters). I didn't know that she also wrote manga, so this is my first manga by her, actually my first ever book by her ever. it didn't dissapoint; I was pretty surprised because I actually enjoyed it and it was relateble in many aspects.
