So far I’m kinda getting The Secret Omega vibes and I’m all here for it.

If there's *one* tiny niggle in all this, it's how quickly Jesse's family has gone from shocked Jesse's alive after 10 years, to acting like he never left. No awkwardness, not navigating that awkwardness. 10 years is a long time to think your son is dead, as well. They've just kinda easily slid back into Jesse being alive and in their lives again, so quickly.

This is really good so far. The enemies-to-lovers vibe is on point, which I LOVE. The chemistry is sizzling. This is shaping up to be a 5 star read if it continues on this way.
