I’m obsessed so far

I’m really enjoying it so far. I’m still in the first chapter, but I already love how it reimagines vampire lore through the lens of Black history, survival, and chosen family. The writing is beautiful, and there are so many lines that make me stop and think. I’m excited to see where Gilda’s journey takes her.
