So far this collection of short stories have surprised because each story is connected to the other. They all are also super creepy, but I love how the author has been able to develop this nightmarish world they have created. I have one last story to go and then a full review will be up.

Finished the first short story. It was great. Characters and setting aren’t fleshed out like in a novel, but that’s to be expected of short stories. Rather, what’s captivating about it so far is the creepy vibe and atmosphere created.
