Status Updates From Paper Moon

This book is so ponderously, self-importantly written.

This is really not a good book. It’s awkward and forced. It’s also flat-out wrong sometimes (Google did not exist in 2001). And the condescending tone that makes the whole city detest SoBo folks makes this unbearable.

The unbearable pretentiousness is getting to me but I’ve reached a chapter on Christmas in Bandra. And that’s a nostalgia flash that I can’t skip.
