Status Updates From Pauper King

Finished Part 2. Fenn's characterisation is taking a dive slowly but surely. She's turning from an independent warrior to a mere sex object who takes care of Johannes' house while he's away. Still, the plot was interesting enough. They go to look for cures and answers from the wizard/sorcerer Zeki and then return home. I skipped over the long descriptions and only read the dialogues as the story's getting boring now.

Just finished Part 1. I liked it up till now. The plot twist at the end was surprising, but I did have a couple of suspicions earlier. Descriptions of violence were great. Felt a bit off about Rapunzel's death. Liked the Petir/Snow White part. Characterisations of dead people aren't there, but the names seem to be enough to inspire emotions in the reader maybe because they're characters we grew up with.
