This marriage of inconvenience had become one of a startling opportuneness that he could barely contemplate. She was a Venus wrapped in the wants of a siren.’

‘In all her thinking & planning she had imagined her sacrifice to be a generous one. She would have allowed him anything in truth & staying well away from her was one of those options. But now all she could see was the dishonor in it, the trick, a snare, that he did not welcome & probably had not deserved.’

‘Without a word, he entered her & thrust on home, her face dissolving into relief & her nails clawing into his skin, drawing blood. Pain & passion. An avid mix. He lifted her up & rode her as she had requested, her shouts of delight muted by his fingers hard banded across her lips.’ ….I like when authors still have the balls to show the hero banging his mistress. It’s a hearty FU to the pearl-clutchers. 😈

‘She held no touchstone, no way of stating the wrongness of all that was happening to her because in this moment it only felt right. She was held captive by forbidden delight & by a man whom she had never known the likes of.’

I don't think I've been so confused reading a book ever. What is structure and a cohesive paragraph?
