Status Updates From Irish Fairy Tales

The Romance & Tragedies Section: an enchanted cave cannot stop love, good food makes one forget his love if not for a benevolent cat, the love of a sister promotes the wrath of 12 wild brothers, a lesson in humility that could have been handled better by a father, a rich tale of pagan violence versus ancient fae and the Cross of Salvation for those who seek it, and the tragic prophecy of a jealous king.

As introductions go, there is an over-romanticizing of the Ireland of old while throwing shade on ancient Rome. Rome deserves that to some degree but is the Emerald Isle a land of only magic and no darkness? Ironically, the inhabitants didn't see it valuable to record their own myths, while monks found them pagan gems to pass on. Intro aside, I anticipate the Irish Fairy Tales as a positive for the folks of Ireland.
