Status Updates From Território Lovecraft

Atticus wants to help his father return home, but Samuel Braithwhite is holding Atticus' father hostage.

This book reminds me of The Green Book travel guide for African Americans written in the 30s and 40s to help ease travel in the Jim Crow South. Ruff references it as The Safe Negro Travel Guide in this book.

"So where do you want to look first?" he said. I notice the question mark is inside the quotes. There is also a period after said indicating that it is its own sentence.

I am totally invested in my book because I love Matt Ruff's writing; I loved the mini series on HBO; and I love the suspense that the story brings.

The setting is Jim Crow South 1948 where the protagonist is using The Safe Negro Travel Guide to get through without issues.
