Status Updates From Veinte años con mi gata

This is more of a story of Mayumi’s adult life after finding herself the sudden owner of a cat and less about the cat’s effect on her… or at least, the first 2/3 of the book gave that impression.

This subject hits close to home, as I’m still healing from the loss of my own fur baby (after 22 beautiful years together) and no matter how much time passes, the pain and grief is always just beneath the surface.
