Forgot to update getting up to this point yesterday.

Took me a bit too long to return. Should be finished with the Torah/Pentateuch now!

Reading all of these Deuteronomic laws is honestly fascinating- it’s so cool to see where a lot of western society’s principles of justice came from. They seem like common sense to us now, but were completely counter to what the rest of the world was doing. It is also incredible to see how much God cared for the vulnerable and implemented rules to protect them in a broken world.
