💬 from what I understood of the books summary there will be changing POVs & with the heavy topic the second person narration is obviously gonna help frame & feel ....BUT.....
....MY GOD DO I HATE THAT WRITING STYLE.... always hits me in the head when I'm not prepared for it because I like to forget it exists... (This is on me and very, very nit picky. Han Kang writes well I'm just an annoying cunt sometimes)

💬 Inger had recommend me 'Greek Lessons' by Han Kang eons ago -
looking up the author I had a hunch 'Human Acts' might be more up my alley so I ended up getting both books 😮‍💨 the to-read only grows it never shrinks!!

Mulai nyeritain POV seonjoo 20-30 tahun setelah kejadian. Seonjoo jg pernah kerja bareng dongho ngurus mayat di kantor pemda. Seonjoo aktif di serikat buruh dan ikut demonstrasi, sampe masuk penjara dan disiksa di ruang interogasi. Disiksa dgn masukin senapan ke rahimnya sampe dia mandul. Gila 😭😭 di sini diceritain segimana traumanya dia bahkan sampe ga mau buat inget kejadian itu lagi
