In awe Pere-Lachaise. Love its beauty so much I'm putting up with the author. That beautiful sculpture on the cover is a monument to a woman who died on her feet bored to death listening to Carolyn Campbell go on and on about herself.

Just making up conversations; she talks, they respond, they chat. None make sense. Every page could have been another monument, another story of one or more, long shots, close-ups, details -- but no this nonsense.

So far too much about author, not enough detail in photos, too many unidentified images. But I'm in love with Pere-Lachaise, the sculptures, the architecture, tombs, the creativity, the landscaping. Wish I could apparate there and spend a few months really seeing, spending time with, with every monument, symbol, epitaph, arch.
