Man, Nia is really trying to put me out of my comfort zone with these stories. Infidelity is like my BIGGEST non-starter for me. Like it's SO hard for me to root for and enjoy the story. BUT....I Literally just updated my 2022 reading goals to include finishing Nias catalogue. So let's see if she works her magic with this story and if I somehow end up enjoying it despite my misgivings about the premise.

i'm LOVING the diversity of rep in this novella

terri is so RELATABLE and the way that nia forrester navigates college social circles/relations (white feminists, i see u) feels incredibly realistic

not to mention, ian is *fans self*

the only thing i can't understand is why he won't just break up with kate—it baffles me that the cheating and guilt is even necessary when he and terri are so CLEARLY the better couple

picked this up bc i'm a SUCKER for WOC on covers and it's actually really good so far omf

I've been struggling to read lately and, like always, a Nia Forrester book just made all of that disappear. I love this.
