That third one was interesting, but not great. It kept me interested but then, it ended so quickly there was no conclusion.

Just finished the second short story, "Mannequin" and it was good! This one I almost feel like was written perfectly, to the point that it kept me engaged that I had to continue reading while using the toilet lmao. Also, I didn't mention before, but I really enjoy the Author's notes at the end of each story, to learn about why she wrote that specific story.

Just finished the first short story, and I really liked it too! It reminded me of all the scary stories I listen to on Youtube during my work day, so it was a perfect short story for me

Just finished the actual dead lake part of the book. Pretty good, nice and fast paced but still a little creepy, I like it :) Weirdly enough though, I did have a bit of a hard time getting into this book, and I just wonder if I'm not in the right headspace of reading or I don't usually like short stories. I'll report back after finishing the last 4 short stories.
