Status Updates From The Hospital: Life, Death, ...

Still enjoying the book. A lot of business, economics and politics involved in running a hospital.

Enjoying the book. It continues to tell real stories about real everyday people and their struggles. It’s humbling.

These words, from the past 10 pages, were some of the best words. The author did an amazing job putting them all into just the right order.

More reading was done today

I read more pages. It made me feel good. Good night everyone!

This book has been about a small town in Ohio called Bryan (which we drive right by when we go back and forth to WV). It builds upon the story of a small hospital and the challenges it has to survive while keeping others surviving. The constant battles people have economically and how that impacts their health. It dives in the main character, Ennen, and his growing up in Bryan only to become CEO of the hospital.

This book starts by introducing the main person, the CEO of a hospital in the town he grew up in, and the people of his region and the hardships they faced both with health and with finances, which contribute to their poor health.
