Status Updates From The Highlander's Excellent ...

As the story is about two love stories, and the four of them are in a quest to Scotland, I get lost at times about who is who/with who. But it's nice to see or hear about about previous characters like Colonel Draven (and his wife), Duke of Mayne (two of my favorite characters/books) or Lord Jasper.

Long long chapters. It also feels I have to scroll through so many pages to get to the next %. I’m assuming this is printed close text. Anyway I felt this dragged a bit in the middle and parts towards the end. But the set up for the story and the idea are fun. Still probably around a 3.5 because the story is interesting and that saved it for me.

Started to drag a bit 50-70%. Picked back up. Probably a 3.5 which will round to a 4.

This book has everything I should not like but I am enjoying it so maybe it’s what I needed to read now.
