Just finished Tilt, Demolition, Billy Zane and What it Sounds Like. I think the last of them was my favourite of these, the idea of angels and buying time. The small glimpse of the world, it's what I like about short stories.

The Redemption of Billy Zane - Jones: Fires on a Greek island.

What It Sounds Like When You Fall - Theodoridou: Angels as annoying pigeons is certainly fun, but the situation is quite sad.

The Fisher - Harding-Shaw: More vignetty than I like, but I liked it.

Canst Thou Draw Out of the Leviathan - Caldwell: Very good historical piece, following a Black sailor in the 1800s.

What the Sea Reaps, We Must Provide - Wood: That's too much to sacrifice for a good summer.

No Children - Saxey: I really liked this one, though I should've realized the conceit sooner.

The Colossus Stops - McKimm: Brief piece.
