RIGHT IF A CHARACTER IS SAYING YE IT MEANS SHES CELTIC SND SHE SHOULD HAVE A CELTIC ACCENT IN THW AUDIOBOOK DA FRICK

I won’t be dnf-ing this at all but there is parts of this that are really irritating me. Why is Amari apologising and suffering the consequence of her mother making her late to the camp, why is her mother not apologising at all, it makes no logical sense and is pretty rubbish writing. There’s been a few instances like this already and it’s drawing me out of the story

Decided to reread this series since it’s been awhile and I want to read book four!

I’ve always really enjoyed MG novels so I was really excited for this but the writing style is not clicking so far, I’m kinda worried I won’t like it all :/
