Wow, this is easy to read. Well paced, fast, and funny with compelling characters who have very distinct narrative voices. I really like Stephen and Graces dynamic of idiot4idiot and I'm enjoying the deeper plot that has begun banging on this romances door. Looking forward to seeing that berserker gun get fired

This book was recommended to me from one of the beta readers of the manuscript that hubs and I are getting ready to publish. She said it "shared DNA" with Paladin's Grace. That piqued my curiosity! So I started it yesterday and was in the middle of chapter 14 before I realized it. Great read so far, engaging protagonists, excellent plot --- and that lead in on the cover! "When a God dies, who gets left behind?" Wow!

i think the most endearing this abt the paladins is that they all wear the socks that stephen knits for them no matter what color they are

Oh my god I also just realized/maybe found out? I'm not sure if I knew this prior, but the main character is in his late 30s! God I didn't know how much I appreciated an mc who's a full goddamn adult
