Status Updates From The Orphan of Cemetery Hill

I just don't feel like reading this. DNK for now.

I'm already losing interest and it's hard for me to articulate why. I loved her other book. I don't want to give up on this yet because I have been so busy / overwhelmed that I can't be certain that this is the main reason I feel detached from the book. But, when I do have a couple minutes to sit and read, I tend to pick up something else. Hmm.

I have been insanely busy and working long hours lately so I was really looking forward to this past weekend's mountain getaway. As I was frantically packing my bags last minute I could not find this freaking book anywhere and was forced to leave without it. Got home this morning and there's the book, staring right at me from the new living room shelves my husband built me so I could easily find my reading material.

Let's see how this goes. I really enjoyed her Witch of Willow Hall, though I'm stunned to see I gave it five stars as that seems a little over the top 🤣 I dunno, sometimes I just really enjoy something and go nuts
