Status Updates From The Path to Sunshine Cove

This book is taking me an embarrassingly long time to read. I really like the story and would love to see it play out, but the author's writing just isn't for me. It's very repetitive and feels like a meeting that could have been an email.

I have a policy about never DNFing book, because it can often surprise you. This may be the first. The amount of repetition is making this a tedious read. The author repeats information we already know at least twice on each page and the way that information is presented to us seems forced and unnatural. Love the plot, so I'm hoping to get through it.
