dear god. This is a horrible book 2 of this series. I’m on chapter 19 of 30 and most of the convos are inane. There’s no movement in the mystery of the story. It’s ALOT of filler. The MC is also really annoying in the one. Hope it gets better.

Sadly, this book is so slow and not even half as good as the first. It’s like the author now has to explain all the magic she just showed in the first book. And new characters are getting in the way of promising relationships from the first book. Sigh.
