I am so fond of the humor this book carries idk Roy monologuing that he’s not gay cause he’s so cool and popular , but 3 pages later he was giggling as a man kissed him on his cheek okaayyyyyyyy bro you 40 years old get the divorce and live your life

I only read the introduction and I just found it pretty silly. One thing I enjoy about theatre is the dedication to authenticity & idk there’s always this cloud like reminder of the importance of being human. We struggle, we laugh, we cry, etc living each day with its own triumphs and tragedies.

The introduction didn’t talk about that tho lol the way he wrote it that made me think of this
