Status Updates From The Reckoning: Book One: Th...

At least, I think I'm on page 30. :) I'm currently listening to the audiobook read by the author, who is one of my favorite voice over actors. Chapter 2 was released yesterday on Spotify podcasts, so I've been listening to it on my commute! Having it as an audiobook for the first read through has made it slightly difficult to follow, but I'm really enjoying what I can pick out in terms of the plot and characters!

I have finished reading this book. Some parts are good reading and then there are part that are ridiculous. No, I am not impressed with all the silly impressions this book gives.

If this book was written by Stephen King it would be getting 4.3 stars!

Well, there ya go. Usually, I'm the one complaining about exceptionally high reviews on books that I believe to be sub-par. This time I'm wondering why the reviews are so low. Granted, it's never going to be a Pulitzer nominee in fiction, but it's entertaining. More than I can say for some the 4+ crap some Goodreads reviewer rave about. What do you expect from a book about demons and the undead during World War I?
