I appreciate that the author isn’t being gratuitous with describing any sexual assault or blase about it, he’s fading to black or in the one instance he gave the power to the victim and spun it on its head

Oh shit! That twist and subversion of expectation was *chefs kiss* I was so worried the author was about to go into a full blown scene and put more detail in than for the maiming/slaughter scenes but I’m so glad that turn happened.

I’m only 4 chapters in and I’m already loving how the story is set up with the altering POVs.

It’s really good and I wish I had more time to give it a rabid read.
