I don't know why but I always find it cringy and unrealistic when FMC conveniently overhears someone praising her (usually the mmc). It's up there with "oops did I just said my thoughts out loud in a 2 minute monolog" trope

She worked on the wrong side of the law and had an affinity for iron, whytf didn’t you assume she was an arms dealer? lol I thought it was obvious??

I am enjoying this series, but I swear in each book there are little continuity errors. Jacky going from I can’t let people know I can telepathically talk in cat form to blabbering even to enemies in the next chapter has so far been the biggest.
But here? I could have sworn in the last book Cassius had never been to the prison or at least doesn’t know how to get there yet it says here he has been. So what the hell!
