Really enjoying Savannah's character. Seems like she does have something mysterious happening to her though.

I picked up this self-published YA urban fantasy with a Black main character & written by a Black author for Self-Published Fantasy Month and so far, it's been a wild ride. Angst, superpowers and fights off the side of the Empire State Building. What more could you want?

"I'm on a roof top with no knowledge of how I got here or how to get down".

"I've got to be real with myself... I'm not invisible anymore. It's what I've always wanted but, as the old saying goes, "Be careful what you wish for".

This is my third read for #SelfPublishedFantasyMonth in September. It's an urban YA fantasy with a POC 16 year-old narrator, written by a POC. It's got a stunningly vivid cover too - I love the red and orange hues.
